Newcastle v Crystal Palace – Newcastle to win 3-0 @ 8/1

An eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions has seen confidence grow in Newcastle United and Eddie Howe's side seem likely to enjoy a comfortable home victory over Crystal Palace at St James' Park. Toon fans have been in dreamland lately, enjoying a 4-1 romp over Paris St-Germain in the Champions League, as well as an incredible 8-0 success at Sheffield United in the Premier League. Goals have come easily, while Newcastle have also been tight at the back, keeping a clean sheet in five of their last seven games. Howe will be thrilled with how the season is going after a shaky start and Palace seem ill-equipped to knock the free-scoring Magpies off their perch. Palace will likely flood the midfield in a bid to stifle Newcastle, but the home side are probably too classy and too confident to be stopped, so a 3-0 correct score will appeal to many at 8/1.

Chelsea v Arsenal – Over 3.5 goals @ 43/20

Chelsea's league position means the Blues will almost certainly take the game to Arsenal on Saturday and look for all three points, while unbeaten Arsenal should also take a positive approach to Stamford Bridge. A high-scoring fixture seems likely given the objectives of the two sides – and over 3.5 goals is an appealing wager at 43/20. Chelsea fans are furious that they have spent so long away from the business end of the Premier League table, but there have been signs that the expensively assembled squad is getting its act together. A Carabao Cup success over Brighton was followed by a 2-0 victory at Fulham, then a 4-1 triumph at Burnley, so Blues followers are eager to see if they can continue the revival against London rivals Arsenal. The Gunners will have learned the harsh lessons of last season's Premier League title race – namely that they have to be almost perfect to defeat Manchester City over the course of 38 matches – and Mikel Arteta will be demanding three points.

Tottenham v Fulham – Tottenham/Tottenham half-time/full-time @ 23/20

Happiness has been radiating out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, with new manager Ange Postecoglou winning over hearts and minds at a club which was downbeat after the sale of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. Monday night's Premier League fixture sees Tottenham take on Fulham – and viewers should expect a comfortable home win. Fulham have been toothless in front of goal this season after the sale of star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and may struggle to get on the scoresheet, while Spurs have been a free-flowing force under Postecoglou. Tottenham to be leading at half-time and winning at full-time can be backed at 23/20. Spurs are unbeaten through their first eight matches of the Premier League season and defeated Luton last time out despite having only ten men for the majority of the game.
