Premier League Matchday Two Preview

Premier League Matchday Two Betting Tips

The Premier League returns for matchday two on what should be another informative weekend of action. Bet on the Premier League More Premier League Tips Champions Manchester City appeared in supreme form when hammering Burnley 3-0 in their Premier League opener and the Citizens welcome Newcastle to the Etihad on Saturday. A new-look Tottenham host Manchester United on a packed Saturday of top-flight action, while there’s a west London derby between Fulham and Brenford. West Ham take on Chelsea on Sunday, while Monday’s contest between Crystal Palace and Arsenal makes it a trio of all-capital clashes.

Tip 1 - Brighton to beat Wolves @ 17/20

Brighton have lost star midfielder Moises Caicedo in a British record transfer to Chelsea, but the Seagulls were without the Ecuadorian on the opening day against Luton and that didn’t stop the south coast side hammering the Hatters 4-1. Brighton had more than 70 per cent possession in that contest, they had 22 shots on goal and we have seen key players leave the Amex before without any real detrimental effect to the team. Roberto de Zerbi is an excellent manager and Brighton look good value to win at Molineux on Saturday. Wolves competed pretty well against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, but that was mainly down to the Red Devils’ shortcomings and it’s wise to be mindful of what has been a pretty chaotic summer in Wolverhampton. Tip 2 - Liverpool v Bournemouth both teams to score @ 3/4

There’s no doubt Liverpool looked dangerous in their Premier League opener at Chelsea, but it was probably more striking just how open the Reds looked at the back. Jurgen Klopp’s side were fortunate to come away with a point on Sunday and there was a gaping hole in the Liverpool midfield. Virgil van Dijk looks a player on the downgrade and the Reds defense seems shaky no matter who is paired alongside the Dutch defender. Bournemouth have been busy in the summer with Andoni Iraola taking over in the dugout and Hamed Traore, Alex Scott, Milos Kerkez, Romain Faivre, Justin Kluivert and Max Aarons all joining for hefty transfer fees. The Cherries were the better side when drawing 1-1 with West Ham in their opening game and they can at least get on the scoresheet. Back Liverpool and Bournemouth BTTS

Tip 3 - Tottenham to beat Manchester United @ 3/4

It’s a period of change for Tottenham with star striker Harry Kane departing for Bayern Munich. However, Spurs performed well without the England skipper at Brentford, scoring two goals and the future may be bright under impressive manager Ange Postecoglou. There appears to be more chance of Spurs seeing off Manchester United in London than the prices indicate. The Red Devils looked well off the pace against Wolves on Monday and that’s becoming a recurring theme for Erik ten Hag’s side. Back Tottenham to win
