Travelling By Car

The Motorpoint Arena is located right in the centre of Nottingham, making it fairly easy to access via car. It is less than half an hour from the A52 and once you reach Nottingham there will be Brown signs directing you to the Arena. In terms of parking, there is the option of buying a ticket for the specific Arena car park which is of course just a few minutes walk from the Arena itself.

Travelling By Train

The Nottingham train station is only a 10 minute walk away from the Motorpoint Arena, or alternatively an even shorter ride in a taxi. The trains into Nottingham station are fairly regular, run by East Midlands Trains.

Travelling By Bus

Nottingham has two main bus stations: Victoria and Broadmarsh. At this point in time, Broadmarsh is closed due to renovation work, so make sure to head to Victoria bus station which is around a 10 minute walk from the arena. Some buses provided by Nottingham City Transport (NCT) can drop you off very close to the arena itself.

Belfry Nottingham: This is a classy hotel with a modern design, and has great links to both the M1 and the city centre.
Best Western Plus Nottingham: Right in the heart of the city centre, there is a Royal Centre Tram stop right outside the doors and if you are walking to the Motorpoint Arena, it should only take around 10 minutes.
Colwick Hall: If you are looking for something more scenic, Colwick Hall may be for you. There is plenty of on-site parking and it is quite close to the city centre.

Pubs and Restaurants Near The Motorpoint Arena

The Belgo bar and restaurant will provide a good atmosphere for a meal along with a few drinks before the event, while if you would prefer a continental theme you could try Bierkeller which is located on Friar Lane.

A more traditional British pub comes in the form of The Cross Keys on Byard Lane, which is extremely close to the Motorpoint Arena. Eating and drinking at the venue itself are, of course, an option too.
