Champions League Semi Finals Tips & Predictions
The Champions League semi-finals conclude on Tuesday and Wednesday after a dramatic pair of first-leg ties last week.
Barcelona were heavy favourites going into their clash with Inter but had to come from 2-0 down at home to secure a 3-3 draw in an exciting affair that is delicately balanced for the return leg.
Arsenal were hopeful of returning to the Champions League final for the first time since 2006 but were dealt a blow in the first leg of their last four tie as they were beaten 1-0 by Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates.
The games between these two are now finely balanced going into the second legs, with all four teams still holding out hope for a place in the final in Munich at the end of the month.
Tip 1: Raphinha to score or assist vs Inter @ 49/50
Barcelona have arguably been the most exciting team to watch in European football this season and they showed that once again in the first leg of this Champions League semi-final at home to Inter.
The Serie A side were 2-0 up within 21 minutes before youngster Lamine Yamal inspired a comeback that saw Hansi Flick's men pick up a 3-3 draw.
Now they visit the San Siro as they aim to wrap up a first Champions League title in 10 years.
Key to their efforts this season has been their two wide players, Yamal and Raphinha.
The former Leeds man has been in devastating form, netting 31 goals and registering 22 assists in all competitions.
The matchup between the Brazilian and Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries is one of the most intriguing tactical battles of this clash and Raphinha will be desperate to get the better of the argument after Dumfries netted twice in the first leg.
Side with the Barcelona man to either score or register an assist in the second leg of this contest.
Tip 2: Paris Saint-Germain to beat Arsenal @ 21/20
Paris Saint-Germain have been ultra-impressive this season and after already seeing off English opposition in Liverpool and then Aston Villa in the knockout stages of the Champions League, they are now gunning for Arsenal to be their third Premier League scalp in a row.
Mikel Arteta's side eliminated reigning champions Real Madrid in the last eight but struggled to lay a glove on PSG in the first leg and look unlikely to get anything in Paris.
Luis Enrique's side are extremely dangerous on the counter-attack, with the pace and trickery of the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue.
Because of their one-goal deficit, the Gunners will have to go for it at some point and could be exposed on the break.
Their decision not to splash the cash on a striker could also come back to haunt them and PSG are fancied to win this second leg.
