Next Wales Manager Betting Odds

Wales hit their peak in 2016 under Chris Coleman when they made it to the semi-finals of the European Championships in 2016, beating Belgium, Russia, Slovakia and Northern Ireland before falling to eventual winners Portugal. Under Rob Page, Wales have made it to the 2020 European Championships round of 16 and the 2022 World Cup.

Wolves look unlikely to sack Rob Page as manager anytime soon but when they do, you'll be able to find manager betting odds here on BetUK.

Failure to qualify for tournaments puts Page under pressure

After beating Ukraine to make it to the 2022 World Cup, Wales fans were ecstatic. After that game, they failed to win in any of their next nine games before eventually beating Latvia. Wales have been relegated from the Nations League and failed to qualify for the latter stages of the World Cup, winning just once. Euro 2024 qualifying saw Wales beat Croatia but their failure to beat either Turkey or Armenia left them need to progress in the play-offs, where they lost on penalties to Poland.

It is harsh but if Wales had beaten Armenia in both games or beaten Poland, they would have made it to the tournament and although they are both difficult teams to beat. Armenia's only other win in qualifying came with a 91st minute winner over Latvia.

Another poor Nations League campaign in the back-end of 2024 could easily see Rob Page sacked. If Wales finish top two in the group that includes Turkey, Montenegro and Iceland, then Page may see himself under less pressure but after a goalless draw with Gibraltar and a devastating 4-0 defeat to Slovakia makes Wales look dreadful going into the campaign.
