Next Rangers Manager Odds
As one of the biggest clubs in Scotland, there are high expectations on Rangers to perform well, particularly when their local rivals Celtic have performed so well in national competitions. Rangers themselves have recently found success in European competitions, making the Europa League final in 2022, whoever sits in the Rangers hotseat has lofty expectations to meet. If those expectations aren't met, you can expect a manager to be axed.
Michael Beale SACKED as Rangers manager
Elimination from the Champions League, Europa League defeat to Aris Limassol and domestic defeats to Celtic, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen have led to the sacking of Michael Beale. Beale left Rangers sat in third in the Scottish Premiership below Celtic and St Mirren, which was deemed unacceptable and thus lost Beale his job.
Who are the betting favourites to be the next Rangers Manager?
A large number of fans believed that Philippe Clement would be the next Rangers manager, the former Monaco manager has three Belgian Pro League trophies to his name as well as a number of individual accolades. However, a dismal end to the campaign last season saw Monaco drop from third to sixth thus losing Clement his job.
However, in recent days a new candidate has been entered into the ring in the form of former Birmingham City manager - John Eustace, sacked with Birmingham sat in 6th position in the Championship, many believe that the team was overachieving. The owners stated that the manager must be fully aligned on the culture at the club but could Birmingham's loss be Rangers gain?
Who else is in the running?
Some of the big names in the running (10/1 or less) for the Rangers job are Graham Potter, Chris Wilder and Derek McInnes. However, if you're looking for larger odds, the likes of Ralph Hassenhuttl, Marcelo Bielsa and Andre Villas-Boas are all included.
