Hull City Manager Odds
Hull City have been a club that have sat between the lower levels of the Premier League and upper levels of the Championship for a long time. However, they have struggled to pull together a consistent spell of form that would see them sit amongst top flight clubs. Instead, they are a club desperate for promotion but haven't quite grasped it despite bringing in some big name players and making some big moves.
Hull haven't been in the Premier League since the 2014/15 season where they were relegated alongside Burnley and Queens Park Rangers, they were recently taken over by Acun Medya in 2022 and Hull have significantly improved and have their sights set on the Premier League.
It doesn't look like Hull will achieve that this season but stranger things have happened.
Who will be the next Hull City manager?
If Liam Rosenior was to be sacked as Hull City manager, it would likely be an English manager that takes over the reigns at Hull City, eleven out of their last sixteen managers have been English and Liam Rosenior was picked with his relationship to the club in mind. Chairman Acun Ilıcalı won't settle for failure and their next permanent manager will likely be a big English name.
In regards to English names, Dean Smith, Steve Cooper and Michael Beale will be linked. As Dean Smith achieved promotion with Aston Villa but has recently taken up the role at Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer, so it's unlikely that Smith will take the role.
Steve Cooper seems like the most likely option after his departure as head coach from Nottingham Forest, as they looked to avoid relegation from the Premier League and it seems like he would be a good fit at the MKM stadium.
Michael Beale is a wildcard option, a poor spell at Sunderland can be overlooked given their horrendous form since his departure, it could be that the club have been on that route for a long time and Beale wasn't the problem. However, his recent record may lead to him heading to a club like Stoke City or Preston North End instead.
However, it could be that Sergen Yalcin, who could be interested in moving his career away from Turkey after winning the Turkish league with Besiktas in 2020, he has a pedigree that most manager wouldn't have.
