Next Cardiff City Manager Betting Odds
With six permanent managers in three years, Cardiff City have struggled to get a consistent high quality manager that will take them closer to the Premier League. This season, they have turned to Turkish manager Erol Bulut - who has a decent CV from his time in Turkey as manager of the likes of Alayaspor and Fenerbahce. His aim this season will to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle as in the last two seasons, the Bluebirds have finished in 18th and 21st positions. If they can replicate the performances of 2020-21 where they were fighting for the play-offs, Cardiff fans will be ecstatic with the Turkish managers performance.

Who will be the next Cardiff City manager?
Cardiff City went in a different direction when they hired Erol Bulut who was their third manager in 2023 but the Welsh club have had more patience with Bulut than they had with Sabri Lamouchi and Mark Hudson, who managed just 10 wins in their combined 36 games, it took Erol Bulut just 26 games to match that tally. So, it is unlikely that Cardiff will sack Erol Bulut in the near future but with the history of the club, we are more likely for a new Cardiff City manager than a new contract for the Turk.
There have been noticeable improvement in Cardiff City this season but if they did look to move on or Bulut left by mutual consent. There are a number of names linked before he took the role that could take on the role. The likes of Dean Smith, Nathan Jones, Chris Wilder and Kevin Phillips were considered, although the Kevin Phillips odds were particularly high due to his lack of experience in the Football League since his departure from National League North side - South Shields. Cardiff were in the relegation zone the last time they changed their manager. Phillips is more likely to take an assistant manager role at a top club in the meantime. Meanwhile, Dean Smith formerly of Leicester City and Aston Villa or Nathan Jones, formerly of Luton Town would likely be early favourite the next time the manager role is open.
