Premier League: Matchday 32 Tips & Predictions

There’s another thrilling weekend of Premier League action in prospect with battles for positions up and down the league.

Champions Manchester City take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday while fellow title hopefuls Arsenal head to the south coast to take on Brighton.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, who ended last weekend on top, face a stern test of their own title ambitions when they meet fierce rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

At the bottom, Luton will be targeting three points when Bournemouth visit Kenilworth Road while Everton host Burnley in a huge relegation encounter.

Elsewhere, Tottenham host Nottingham Forest and Chelsea are away to Sheffield United in what should be a cracking weekend of top-flight action.

Tip 1 - Burnley to beat Everton @ 19/5

Time is running out for Burnley, who are six points adrift of safety with only seven matches of the Premier League season remaining.

However, a trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton not only gives the Clarets a chance to collect a much-needed three points but also to land a blow on a side Vincent Kompany’s men will be hoping to catch.

Everton rescued a point at Newcastle on Tuesday night thanks to a late penalty from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but the Toffees were second-best for large periods at St James' Park and have not won in the league since beating Burnley at Turf Moor some 13 games ago.

The Merseyside men have scored only nine goals in that time and they make no appeal whatsoever at odds-against.

Tip 2 - Luton v Bournemouth over 3.5 goals @ 11/10

It was clear from Rob Edwards' team selection against Arsenal in midweek that the Luton manager was targeting Saturday’s home date with Bournemouth.

And, as they have for much of the season, the Hatters are likely to come out firing at Kenilworth Road but that may leave them vulnerable to a forward-thinking Cherries outfit.

There have been 59 goals scored in Luton's last 14 matches, an average of 4.2 per game, and with their desperation for points becoming greater with every passing week, goals again look on the cards in Bedfordshire.

Tip 3 - Nottingham Forest or draw double chance v Tottenham @ 21/10

Nottingham Forest eased their relegation fears with an impressive 3-1 victory over Fulham on Tuesday night and the Tricky Trees can pick up another positive result at Tottenham.

Spurs looked short of ideas during their midweek outing at West Ham, a 1-1 draw which followed on from a narrow 2-1 victory over relegation-threatened Luton and a 3-0 defeat at Fulham.

The tactually astute Nuno Espirito Santo will set up Forest to frustrate Spurs and the Midlanders could leave north London with at least a point.

Tip 4 - Liverpool to beat Manchester Utd @ 7/10

At 7/10, Liverpool could be the bet of the entire weekend when they head to Old Trafford to face old rivals Manchester United on Sunday.

Of course, United did manage to end the Reds' quadruple dreams last month when they won an epic FA Cup quarter-final between the sides 4-3. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side dominated that match and they would have won had they not made a hash of a late counter-attack.

The title hopefuls are better than United in every facet at present and they are unlikely to make the same mistakes twice.
