What is Floorball?

Originating in Sweden during the 1970s, Floorball is an indoor team sport played with a team of six, consisting of five outfield players and a goalkeeper on each team. The overall aim of the game is to score more than your opponent by shooting the ball into the opponents net, similar to the game of hockey, except a plastic ball is used instead of a puck and special Floorball sticks are used.
