Wigan Athletic Away Day Guide

Bet UK's Wigan Athletic Away Day Guide

Wigan Athletic and Swansea City were 2 divisions apart last season, but will now be facing off again after contrasting fortunes last year. Wigan Athletic bounced back to the Championship after just 1 season in League 1. The Latics won the league with 98 points, only conceding 29 goals throughout the season. Paul Cook was the man to lead Wigan back to the Championship, joining the club from Portsmouth. Cook managed to mastermind a victory against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City last season as well, alongside the club’s successful league campaign.

Swansea City’s last trip to the DW Stadium was a 3-2 win on the final away day of the 2012/13 Premier League season. The trip to the DW is another midweek game for travelling Swansea City fans, but it could be an opportunity for 3 points.
