Swansea City Championship Form

Swansea were back to winning ways in their 3-1 win against Blackburn. Despite a poor first half showing, 2 half time substitutions from Graham Potter completely changed the game. Jay Fulton and Leroy Fer were both introduced at the break, with both players playing pivotal roles in Swansea’s comeback. Jay Fulton almost grabbed the first goal, but his shot rebounded off the post onto the back of Blackburn goalkeeper David Raya. Connor Roberts put Swansea ahead before Bersant Celina completed the comeback, dinking over the opposition keeper from Fer’s through ball. Swansea looked back to their best in the second half, with young stars Fulton and James particularly impressive.

Reading Championship Form

Last Time Out In The Championship

Reading failed to capitalise on their win against Millwall with a 2-1 defeat to Birmingham. Reading had the better of the first half, testing Lee Camp on more than one occasion. Camp nearly gifted Reading a goal after spilling a Liam Kelly shot before being saved by the post. An early second half goal from Gary Gardner gave Birmingham the confidence they were lacking in the first half. Lukas Jutiewicz doubled Birmingham’s lead with 20 minutes to go, heading across goal from a Che Adams cross. Reading did grab a 90th minute consolation through Yakou Meite, but there wasn’t enough time for a late equaliser.
