How to get to the bet365 Stadium?

Driving to the bet365 Stadium from Swansea

If you plan on driving to the bet365 Stadium, then head out of Swansea on the M4 until coming off at exit 24. After leaving the M4, follow the A40 and then the M50 into Herefordshire. At the end of the M50, join the M5, before merging onto the M6 just outside of Birmingham. Exit the M6 at junction 15 and follow the A500 towards the bet365 Stadium.

There are official car parks at the ground that only cost £5 for the day. The nearby shops also offer car parking spaces, as well as a nearby industrial estate with plenty of parking. There are plenty of grassy areas around the ground, but parking on them will result in a parking ticket.

Trains from Swansea to the bet365 Stadium

Getting to Stoke from Swansea might be quite straightforward, but getting home will be more difficult. Trains leave Swansea Station just under every 30 minutes, for a 4 and a half hour journey up to Swansea. The latest train that will get you into Stoke in plenty time is the 14:29, arriving at Stoke Railway Station at 18:43. The Station is a couple of miles away, so walking to the ground might be a bit far. Taxis regularly run from the station, as well as a shuttle bus that comes every 15 minutes before kick off.

There are unfortunately no trains back from Stoke Railway Station the night after the game, so if the train is the only option, you will have to stay the night. On the morning of the 19th September, trains run regularly back to Swansea.

Hotels near the bet365 Stadium for Swansea City Fans

Staying the night in Stoke might be the only option for Swansea City fans, with no trains coming back and a long drive the only other option. With the bet365 being quite far out from Stoke city centre, there aren’t a lot of options for hotels directly next to the ground. There is a Holiday Inn close to the ground, but if you are looking for more choice then you’ll have to head closer to the centre of Stoke. There are plenty of hotels that aren’t too expensive, including the Potbank, North Stafford Hotel and The Crown Hotel. The regular shuttle bus also runs after the match, so getting back into Stoke isn’t too difficult for Swansea supporters.

Pubs For Swansea football fans near the bet365 Stadium

Right next to the bet365 Stadium is a Holiday Inn and Harvester that will allow Swansea football fans in before the match. As you get further away from the ground, there is a Power League complex and the Longton Rugby Club. All 3 pubs will have Sky Sports on large screens, and also offer parking for under £5. If you head to Stoke by train, then the Police will be on hand to direct you to away friendly pubs. Typically, they will send fans to the Terrace Bar or the Venue Bar, both in Stoke city centre. The shuttle bus runs from Venue Bar, with the last bus leaving at 7pm.
