Manchester City v Manchester United Betting Tips
The first Manchester derby of the season kicks off this weekend, with both Manchester sides underperforming so far this season. Manchester City are still easily one of the best sides in the league, but are still 9 points off the pace so far. Manchester United on the other hand, might be 6th, but are 22 points from first and find themselves closer to a relegation battle than a title challenge.

Manchester City - 20/67 To Win

Last Time Out For City
Man City bounced back from their draw at Newcastle with a commanding 4-1 win at Burnley. After misfiring in his last few games, Gabriel Jesus scored his first goal in 6 games in the opening 45. Cutting in from the left, Jesus curled an effort into the far corner to give City an early lead. Five minutes after the break, Jesus doubled City’s lead with a close range finish. The lead was put beyond doubt when Rodri powered home a half-volley from 20 yards, giving Nick Pope no chance. Mahrez finished from a similar position to make it 4-0 and City looked back to their best. Burnley did get a late consolation through Robbie Brady but Guardiola will be happy to see his side back to winning ways. In particular, Gabriel Jesus will be key to City’s success until Sergio Aguero returns from injury.
Manchester United - 9/1 To Win
Manchester United’s Recent Form
Last Time Out For United
Coming into the game against Spurs, the focus was purely on Jose Mourinho. But after a 2-1 win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, striker Marcus Rashford was the one taking all the plaudits. Rashford opened the scoring after just 6 minutes, firing his shot into the bottom corner past Paolo Gazzaniga. As good as that finish was by Rashford, it was Dele Alli who had the best moment of the match. Controlling a deflected ball from high in the air, Alli split two defenders with his first touch and finished confidently past David De Gea with his second. Heading into the break level, it looked like Spurs had taken control of the game. But 5 minutes after the break, Rashford again grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and won a penalty for the home side. He duly dispatched the spot kick and led his side to 3 points and the first win in 3 games. Rashford has caused City some problems in the past, so another goal on Saturday isn’t out of the question.
Where’s The Value Bet?
At home, Manchester City have been as formidable this season as they ever have. In 7 league games, they’ve racked up an incredible 21 goals, only conceding 6 times. In that time, they have only been beaten once and put in one of the performances of the season with a 8-0 win against Watford. Even with Sergio Aguero out of action, City have Sterling, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus to rely on for goals. Against a Manchester United side that haven’t looked convincing defensively, City could grab a few goals on Saturday. With that being said, City to score exactly 3 goals is 29/10 at Bet UK.
