Manchester City v Arsenal Betting Tips
The Premier League returns on Wednesday night with a great match in Manchester City v Arsenal. This was the first match to be initially cancelled back in March, and both sides will now finally play their game in hand. Man City need the 3 points to keep up their very slim chances of the title run, whilst Arsenal need any result if they are to make anything of this season.

Manchester City’s Recent Form
The Season So Far For Man City
After dominating the Premier League for the last two seasons, Man City haven’t been anywhere near as impressive during 19/20. They are still comfortably in 2nd place in the league, but the drop off in points will be a worry for Pep Guardiola. Although Sergio Aguero has scored 16 goals this year, goalscoring has still been a general issue for Man City. Raheem Sterling had his best goalscoring season last year, but has failed to improve again this year. Whilst the forwards haven’t been as prolific, the defence has been the biggest issue. Rarely have Man City had a fully fit back 4, with Laporte, Stones and Otamendi all missing time at centre half. An ageing Fernandinho has dropped into defence, but teams had taken advantage of his lack of speed and height. Whilst Laporte may be back in action against Arsenal, it’s still hard to back Man City keeping a clean sheet, regardless of the final result.
Arsenal’s Recent Form
The Season So Far For Arsenal
After the summer transfer window, this looked like it could have been a good season for Arsenal. But since breaking their transfer record on Nicolas Pepe, Arsenal have replaced Unai Emery with Mikel Arteta and are left stranded in 10th. Since January however, Arsenal went on an impressive unbeaten run. That includes standout wins against Man United and Everton, as well as an away draw with Chelsea. One thing that has been a constant through a rollercoaster season is the amount of goals in Arsenal games. So far, there has been 76 goals in 28 games involving the Gunners. That’s partly down to an incredible front line of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe, but also down to a lacklustre defence that is constantly torn apart. Regardless of their opposition, Arsenal games always manage to entertain the neutral and there’s no reason to think there won’t be goals on Wednesday night.

Bet UK’s Headline Betting Tip
Man City need to make a statement in their return to the Premier League. Guardiola will surely send his side out to dominate from the first minute and we expect then to take an early lead and put Arsenal to the sword for the rest of the match.
