Kosovo v England Betting Tips
After a 7-0 win in their 1000th international, England secured their place at Euro 2020. It was a straightforward win for England but they should face a much tougher outfit when they travel to Kosovo. The last time these sides met, we got a 5-3 thriller at St Mary’s. We’ll be lucky to get anything close to that match this time around.
Kosovo’s Recent International Form
Last Time Out For Kosovo
After a defeat at the Czech Republic, Kosovo’s chance of automatic qualification for Euro 2020 came to an end. Considering this is the first time that Kosovo have entered into European Championship qualification, coming so close to automatic qualification is a huge achievement. Back to their game against the Czech’s, after a dull first half, Kosovo took the lead 5 minutes into the second half. Sheffield Wednesday striker Atdhe Nuhiu scored his 3rd goal for his country, temporarily sending them up to 2nd in Group A. After 70 minutes however, the Czech Republic stepped up their efforts and scored 2 quickfire goals to turn the match around, qualifying for Euro 2020 in the process. At home, Kosovo will want to end their qualification on a high. Even though England should come away with a win, Kosovo could give them some troubles.
England’s Recent International Form
Last Time Out For England
England confirmed their place at Euro 2020 with a commanding 7-0 win over Montenegro at Wembley. In England’s 1000th international, they recorded their biggest win in over 6 years and it arguably could have been more. 11 minutes into the match, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain netted on his return to the international side, before Wembley was treated to the Harry Kane show. In 21 first half minutes, Kane netted his third hat-trick for England, overtaking Alan Shearer in the all time leading goalscorers in the process. After a first half where Ben Chilwell and Marcus Rashford also impressed, England led 5-0 at the break. The second half was less breathtaking as England took their foot off the gas. An own goal and a late Tammy Abraham goal ended the scoring for England on a night where they were never threatened. England’s goal-scoring talent was on full display, even from the bench, so goals are almost a guarantee when they play.
Where’s The Value Bet?
England have been free-scoring for much of the Euro 2020 Qualification stage. They’ve managed an incredible 33 goals in just 7 games in Group A, averaging 4.7 goals a match. As impressive as that stat is alone, England’s first half scoring is what sets them apart. They’ve scored 20 goals in the opening 45, as opposed to 13 in the second half. In the last 2 matches alone, England have scored 9 goals before the end of the first half. The Three Lions have gotten used to blowing their opponents away early on in matches. If they are going to get anything away at Kosovo, expect a similar approach.

Kosovo v England will be shown live on ITV1 from 4:15 on Sunday 17th November.
Bet UK’s Headline Betting Tip
England should put out a more experimental line up against Kosovo on Sunday, so expect some early nerves. It will be a much tighter game than against Montenegro, but England’s strength in depth should edge this one.
