Inter Milan v Juventus Betting Tips
It’s an early season, top of the table clash as Inter Milan host Juventus at the San Siro this weekend. Antonio Conte has got his Inter side playing an attractive style of football already this season, something that Inter have been missing in recent years. Maurizio Sarri on the other hand, hasn’t quite got his Juventus side playing as well as they could, but they still sit second in Serie A. Take a look at our 4 betting tips below for our thoughts ahead of this huge match.

Inter Milan’s Recent Form
Last Time Out For Inter
Inter continued their perfect start to the Serie A season with a 3-1 win away at Sampdoria. Antonio Conte’s side look the real deal this season and could even challenge Juventus to the title come the end of the year. At Sampdoria, Inter started the match positively and had chances to open the scoring early on. Their first goal came on 20 minutes as a long range shot from Stefano Sensi took a wicked deflection off Alexis Sanchez, before finding the corner of the net. Sanchez added a goal of his own 2 minutes later, again benefitting from a wayward shot to finish from close range. A minute into the second half, Sanchez was shown a second yellow card for dissent to end his game early, but it didn’t hinder Inter too much. Jakub Jankto did pull a goal back for Sampdoria, but 6 minutes later and Inter were back ahead as Roberto Gagliardini knocked in a rebound to finish the scoring. Sensi has been pivotal to Inter’s play so far this season, with 3 goals and 2 assists. If Inter are to have a good game, then they will need to rely on Sensi in some form.
Juventus’s Recent Form
Last Time Out For Juventus
As expected, Juventus dominated their match against SPAL, even if they didn't have the big scoreline to show it. Aaron Ramsey, Paolo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo all had the chance to open the scoring in the first half, before Mraljem Pjanic eventually broke the deadlock. Pjanic’s strike came after SPAL cleared their lines to the edge of the box, before Sami Khedira laid the ball towards the Bosnian, who fired a half volley into the top corner. It was more of the same after the break, with Juventus dominating the ball but failing to find a way past SPAL. Ronaldo could have had a hattrick before he eventually got his goal with 10 minutes remaining. Dybala’s back post cross was met perfectly by Ronaldo, who powered the ball past the SPAL keeper at his near post. The worry for Juventus is just how many chances they needed before finding the back of the net. It’s unlikely that they will get as many opportunities at the San Siro, so we could see a low scoring performance from the Old Lady.
Where’s The Value Bet?
In the last 10 years, since Inter’s famous treble season under Jose Mourinho, the gap between Inter Milan and Juventus has grown and grown. In fact, since that Champions League success, Inter have only beaten Juve 3 times, and are winless since 2016. So if we fancy Juventus to win, then we can have a look at this season’s form to add an extra market to our bet. That’s where Inter’s impressive defence comes into play. Conte’s side have only conceded twice in 6 games so far this season with Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar at the back. So if Juventus are to win, then it will be a tight game and should only have the odd goal in it. We’ve gone for Juve to win and under 2.5 goals at 4/1, which looks like huge value.

Bet UK’s Headline Betting Tip
Although it might not be an upset given how the sides have played this season, I expect Inter to shock a few people and come away with a win here. They’ve been playing top draw football all season and on its day, the San Siro can be as intimidating an atmosphere as anywhere in Europe.
