Bet UK’s Hit The Target Treble - Week 23
Bet UK have another Hit The Target Treble for this weekend’s Premier League fixtures. We take a look at each team in the treble and evaluate their chances for the weekend. Our sports betting has football betting odds on all Premier League matches this week.
Manchester United to beat Brighton - 4/13*
After 6 wins in a row in all competitions, it’s no surprise that Manchester United are favourites going into the Brighton game. Manchester United won their first ‘real test’ against Tottenham at the weekend, with nearly all of the praise going to David De Gea. The Spaniard was back to his very best after a shaky 2018, making 11 second half saves to preserve Manchester United’s lead. Although David De Gea was the star, it was Marcus Rashford who continued his good form to put United ahead. The youngster is now firm favourite ahead of Romelu Lukaku and has repaid Solskjaer's faith with 5 goals in 4 games. Brighton are without a clean sheet since October, so expect Rashford to have plenty of chances again.
Newcastle United to beat Cardiff City - 1/1*
After a 0-0 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium earlier this season, Newcastle fans will be hoping for all 3 points this time around. Their preparation for the game hasn’t been ideal, but a 4-2 extra time win over Blackburn will fill Newcastle with confidence. Federico Fernandez made his return to action midweek, and Florian Lejeune returned against Chelsea at the weekend, providing much-needed reinforcements to the back line. Salomon Rondon will also be thankful for the rest and raring to go at the weekend. Although their home form hasn’t been great this season, Newcastle are unbeaten against the other 6 teams in the bottom 7, and Rafa Benitez knows how to set his side up against the teams around them.
Southampton to beat Everton - 17/10*
Southampton might not have a perfect home record this season, but a match against Everton could be a perfect opportunity to turn their season around. This season, Everton have only picked up 30% of their 30 points away from home and have continually struggled away from Goodison Park. Since Hasenhuttl’s appointment, Southampton have beaten Arsenal, Leicester and Huddersfield, as well as a draw away at Chelsea. They might still not be playing spectacular football, but they look reinvigorated and are slowly drawing themselves away from the relegation zone. Don’t be surprised to see Southampton build on their start under Hasenhuttl with another victory over Everton.
