Chelsea v Arsenal - Europa League Final Betting Tips
In the first of 2 all English European finals, Arsenal take on Chelsea in the Europa League final. It’s already a final that is marred by controversy after each side was only allocated 6,000 tickets for fans, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been ruled out for political reasons. With that put to one side though, we’ve got a European final to look forward to. This is Arsenal’s first European final since 2006 and Chelsea can win their second Europa League, after their 2013 success.

Chelsea’s Road To The Europa League Final
After finishing 5th last season, Chelsea entered the Europa League in the group stage for the first time. They were drawn in Group L alongside BATE Borisov, MOL Vidi and PAOK and had no problem advancing as winners. A poor 2-2 draw against MOL Vidi in the final match was the only reason they finished without a perfect record in the group. In the knockout stages, they easily got past Malmo, Dynamo Kiev and Slavia Prague, winning all 6 games across the 3 legs. In the semi finals however, they faced their toughest task in a young Eintracht Frankfurt side. Chelsea laboured to two 1-1 draws, before facing a penalty shootout at Stamford Bridge. Kepa Arrizabalaga turned out to be the hero of the day, saving 2 Frankfurt penalties to ensure Chelsea reached the final. Striker Oliver Giroud is currently the top scorer in this year’s Europa League with 10 goals. Expect him to keep his place in the line up and lead his team once again in the final.
Arsenal - 39/20* To Win

Arsenal’s Road To The Europa League Final
Much like Chelsea’s route to the final, Arsenal were drawn in a relatively straight forward group and progressed with ease. Alongside them in Group E were Sporting Lisbon, Vorskla Poltava and Qarabag. A draw at home to Sporting were the only points dropped for Arsenal as they kept 5 clean sheets out of 6 to finish top of the group. Their defensive strength was clear as they conceded just 3 goals in the next 3 ties. Aggregate wins against BATE Borisov, Rennes and Napoli gave them a semi final against Valencia. 4 goals from Aubaymeng and 3 from Lacazette across the 2 legs gave Arsenal a 7-3 win on aggregate. Arsenal have their defence to thank for getting them this far in the tournament, despite a poor showing against Valencia. If they are going to beat Chelsea, they will need to step up again and let Aubameyang and Lacazette perform at the other end.
Where’s the value bet?
Chelsea are unsurprisingly the favourites heading into the Europa League final. After finishing 3rd in the Premier League this season, they will be heading back to the Champions League regardless of the results. Mauricio Sarri might be linked with a different job on an almost daily basis, but he will still want to end his first Chelsea season on a high. We can also add another stipulation into the market to give us even more value for the bet. In Arsenal’s last 4 games and 4 of Chelsea’s last 6, both teams have scored. Couple this with the fact that Chelsea and Arsenal have 2 of the 3 top scorers in the Europa League and it looks likely to happen again. Chelsea to win and BTTS comes in at 33/10 and looks like a huge price for something that the stats are all pointing towards.

If the rumour mill is to be believed, this will be Eden Hazard’s final game as a Chelsea player. Expect him to bow out in style and end his Chelsea career with a trophy.
