Premier League Darts Tips: Night 15 - Sheffield

The Premier League Darts rolls into Sheffield for Night 15 and yet again we have a new leader. Michael van Gerwen and Rob Cross have been swapping places over the last few weeks, and it is the latter that has claimed top spot, for now, thanks to a shock result in Manchester last week.

Check out Bet UK’s darts tips for Night 15 in Sheffield.

Where Is The Value?

James Wade To Win 21/20*

James Wade is playing some of the best darts of his career at the moment, and his sensational campaign has put him in an incredibly strong position in 3rd place. That being said, he is only one point ahead of Daryl Gurney in 5th, with 6 players desperately looking to confirm their places in the top 4 and the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on 23rd May.

Last week saw Wade win the mental battle in an 8-4 victory against the feisty Gerwyn Price, as tensions boiled over so much that the customary post-match handshake did not happen. This week, Wade takes on Michael Smith who has had a disastrous campaign and cannot qualify from his position at the bottom of the table. Bet UK are predicting a routine win for “The Machine”, who can be backed at odds of 21/20*.

Other Premier League Darts Betting Predictions - Night 15:

Mensur Suljovic vs Rob Cross

Rob Cross To Win 5/6*

As mentioned, we have a new sheriff in town. Rob Cross leads the Premier League Darts table once again after a systematic 8-1 dismantling of Michael Smith last week. With two more weeks of the league phase to go, “Voltage” is four points ahead of fifth-placed Daryl Gurney with a far superior legs difference, meaning Cross’ place in the last four is all but assured.

In Sheffield, Mensur Suljovic stands in the Englishman’s way which is as tough a task as any at this level. Suljovic is sitting pretty in 4th place and needs the points himself to stay there. Peter Wright fell to “The Gentle” in Manchester, but he’ll be expecting a much tougher task against Cross. With the pressure mostly off and with the form that he’s in, we are going for Rob Cross to edge this game, at odds of 5/6*

Daryl Gurney vs Gerwyn Price

TIP: DRAW - 7/2*

Draw 7/2*

Gerwyn Price and Daryl Gurney are essentially the pantomime villains on the PDC tour, according to the reaction they get from the fans at least. On the week we celebrated Star Wars Day, if Gurney played the role of Darth Vader then Price would certainly be the Emperor. Price has definitely been the ‘big bad’ of this season, drawing the ire of the fans on multiple occasions.

There is not much to split these two in terms of league position either, with Gurney just the one point and one place better off. This is a game that is very difficult to predict, as both can be sublime or erratic on occasion. “Superchin” is bound to be on a high after the amazing 8-5 victory over Michael van Gerwen last week, but we are predicting a draw this time, at odds of 7/2*.

Michael van Gerwen vs Peter Wright

Michael van Gerwen to win 4/13*

This is the match that seems the most straightforward to predict. Michael van Gerwen is the reigning World Darts Champion, Premier League Champion and world number 1, while Peter Wright has struggled for any sort of form for the entire season. The Scotsman also cannot qualify from his wretched position and therefore has nothing to play for.

The overall head to head record does not make good reading for “Snakebite” at all either. Of the 53 matches that they have played, Michael van Gerwen has won 43 of them with only 8 wins for Wright and 2 draws. Bet UK are going for a van Gerwen win at odds of 4/13*.

Bet UK Accumulator

We are also tipping a Bet UK accumulator for the arrows action. Rob Cross, James Wade and Michael van Gerwen all to win is odds of 15/4*.

Accumulator - 15/4*
