Premier League Darts Tips: Night 13 - Birmingham
Birmingham is the location for Night 13 of the Premier League Darts, as Michael van Gerwen looks to push on from reclaiming first place in the table by gaining a semblance of revenge over James Wade, who beat the World Champion 7-3 back in late February.

Where Is The Value?
Mensur Suljovic will be far happier with the way his Premier League Darts season has gone than his opponent this week, Michael Smith. “The Gentle” is level on points with 3rd, while “Bully Boy” is rock bottom of the table on just 8 points. Only winning 3 of his 12 matches, Smith is a long way away from the player that impressively reached the final of the World Darts Championship on New Years Day.
We are tipping Mensur Suljovic to claim the win in Birmingham since he is the player in much better form, but also because he has an outstanding head to head record against Michael Smith. Of the 13 contests they have played throughout their career, Suljovic has won 9 to Smith’s 4. This including the last Premier League meeting, a 7-2 success for the Austrian.
Other Premier League Darts Betting Predictions - Night 13:
Rob Cross vs Gerwyn Price
Last week in Cardiff was certainly a setback for Rob Cross, as he was knocked off top spot in the Premier League by Michael van Gerwen. There is no disgrace in that of course, but he will still be disappointed in the way MVG saw him off with relative ease with an 8-2 scoreline. Cross actually went 2-0 up in that one too, before being powerless against the onslaught of the Green Machine.
Gerwyn Price is probably still in shock at receiving a hero’s welcome for once in his career last week in his home country. Usually the pantomime villain of the PDC tour, “The Iceman” had the crowd on their feet with a brilliant 8-5 win over Michael Smith. He goes into this game with Rob Cross as the underdog though, and we are backing “Voltage” to claim the points in Birmingham at odds of 20/21*.
Daryl Gurney vs Peter Wright
Peter Wright is certainly not a man that is afraid of taking risks. He gets on stage each week with a colourful mohawk and garish garbs, but his main rise recently has been the constant need to change his set of darts. Last weeks change must have been the craziest of them all, going with a spring stem that rather comically wobbled after it has hit the board like something from Looney Tunes cartoon.
Daryl Gurney has had a decent campaign in the 2019 Premier League Darts, but his main problem has been consistency. Great results such as the win over Michael van Gerwen have been followed up with disappointing losses, such as the 8-5 defeat to Mensur Suljovic last week. This time around we are backing Gurney to win at odds of 5/4*, as Wright has been nowhere near the level required recently.
James Wade vs Michael van Gerwen
Normal service was very much resumed last week as MVG dismantled Rob Cross 8-2 and took his place back at the top of the Premier League Darts table. James Wade had an excellent evening too, hammering Peter Wright by the same scoreline. That sets up this match to be a very intriguing contest, between two of the form players in the competition.
This particular match is made even more interesting by the fact that James Wade got the better of the defending Premier League Champion 7-3 back on 28th February. Van Gerwen still has the better of Wade in head to head competition overall though, with 25 victories to Wades 12. We expect MVG to avoid a slip up here and gain revenge for earlier in the season.
Bet UK Accumulator
We are also tipping a Bet UK accumulator for the arrows action. Rob Cross, Mensur Suljovic and Daryl Gurney all to win is odds of 39/4*.
