BTTS Betting Tips

Montpellier v Nimes - 12:00, Sunday 4th October - BTTS Odds @ 10/11

BTTS Stats

Montpellier BTTS % - 100% Nimes BTTS % - 60%

We’re heading to Ligue 1 for the first leg of this weekend’s BTTS Treble. Montpellier are the top scorers in Ligue 1 with 12 goals so far, and they’ve risen to claim 3rd place early on. But, as strong as they are going forward, they’ve struggled defensively. They have the second-worst defensive record in the top half of Ligue 1, which has led to their 100% record of BTTS so far this season. When they face Nimes on Sunday, they’ll be playing a side that is experiencing similar issues. So far, Nimes have scored more than PSG, Marseille and Lyon, but have also conceded seven goals in their five games. A 0-0 draw against Lyon and a 4-0 domination of Brest are their only matches without BTTS this season. Considering how much they can score going forward, we could see Montpellier and Nimes sharing a lot of goals on Sunday.

Club Brugge v Anderlecht - 12:30, Sunday 4th October - BTTS Odds @ 7/10

BTTS Stats

Club Brugge BTTS % - 43% Anderlecht BTTS % - 86%

This is one of the biggest games in Belgium, as Anderlecht travel to Club Brugge. Both sides have started the season strongly. Club Brugge currently sit 2nd in the table, whilst Anderlecht are unbeaten but sit in 5th. Brugge are the league’s top scorers with 18 goals, as players across the pitch have chipped in so far. It’s a similar story for Anderlecht, who have scored 15 goals without one standout performer. Anderlecht’s BTTS % of 86% is down to their leaky defence, with nine goals conceded so far in 6 league matches. Brugge has a better record, with just five conceded, but they have yet to face a team as strong as Anderlecht. When the two highest-scoring sides in any league face off against each other, BTTS is always a good bet to look at.

PSV v Fortuna Sittard - 15:45, Sunday 4th October - BTTS Odds @ EVS

BTTS Stats

PSV BTTS % - 100% Fortuna Sittard BTTS % - 67%

PSV look to continue their 100% BTTS record so far this season when they host Fortuna Sittard. 100% BTTS is incredibly unrealistic for a full season, but with both teams scoring in 62% of their Eredivisie matches last year, we can expect that number to always remain above average. Similarly for Fortuna Sittard, who’s 67% record follows from a 58% record in 2019/20. That ranks both teams in the top 6 for both teams to score percentage over the last two seasons. This season, both sides have had contrasting starts with PSV up in 5th whilst Fortuna are in 15th. PSV are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, whilst Fortuna have only failed to score once in their last seven games. Even though we expect PSV to dominate this one, don’t be surprised if they let in a sloppy consolation goal towards the end of the game.
