BetUK.com Backs Responsible Gambling Week
LeoVegas-owned sports betting brand, BetUK.com, is committed to providing the greatest and safest online gaming experience. To demonstrate this the brand is donating LED minutes across all Premiership Rugby games played throughout Responsible Gambling Week, which runs from 7th - 13th November. By replacing the site logo with Responsible Gambling Week assets, BetUK.com hopes to improve visibility for the industry-led campaign and raise awareness of responsible gambling.
The move compliments a suite of activities happening throughout the LeoVegas Group from on-site workshops with YGAM, Gordon Moody and Barclays Bank to rebranding sponsored sports teams for the duration of the week-long initiative.
The BetUK.com Commitment
Responsible Gaming is part of the BetUK.com brand DNA. Support teams are on hand 24/7 via telephone, live chat and email and the specialist Safer Gambling team have been trained to have a holistic view of Responsible Gambling - training provided in partnership with like-minded third parties EPIC Risk Management and Mind, the Mental Health Charity.
Alongside dedicated safer gaming and customer service teams, BetUK.com also has a range of tools that are available to all customers, at any time.
Reality Checks - Customers can set a reminder that lets them know how long they have been playing for.
Deposit Limits - Customers can set their own limit on how much they can deposit at BetUK.com on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Take A Break - Customers can take a self-imposed break from BetUK.com for anywhere from 1 day to 6 weeks.
BetUK.com supports Responsible Gambling Week for the second year running.
Responsible Gambling Week aims to create a conversation with customers, staff and the wider public about Responsible Gambling and drive awareness about the variety of tools available to keep play safe, as well as where to find the information for more advice and support when needed.
Launched in 2018 with great success, BetUK.com took part in the industry-led campaign by, among other initiatives, auctioning special edition Swansea City match shirts after replacing the brand logo with the Responsible Gambling Week banner. All proceeds were donated to Gordon Moody Association - a BetUK.com partner charity that provides a residential treatment programme for gamblers in need.
